I am looking for a way of dividing a loop into set number of slices (ex. 4, 8. 16…) and then triggering them to play in a random order in accordance to the tempo. Is there any “easy” or “prefixed” way of slicing a loop like this, or is through Slicer or advanced macro script writing I need to do this? Just wanted to know before I deep dive into Slicer etc… Thanks again!

    Hi,
The Slicer is made to do that.
When you use the mail looper, it is very easy.
With modular loopers, it is also possible with the slicer.

This video tutorial show how to do that with the slicer…

You can also do it with a macro.

And we will had a tool later to do it with a newer, easier approach, so let stay connected for that ! -)

    best,
    Philippe
